The homecoming.

These above were about 2 minutes after the tearful goodbye with Annie's foster mom. I sat her on the bed and I was sobbing. She must have thought I was a funny sight because she started smiling and laughing at me. That was the first time I ever saw her smile. Cheered me right up!

Not sure if this was the same night or the next morning but she was still smiling!

All dressed and ready to go home.

In the plane waiting for it to take off. We had the whole row (3 seats) to ourselves which was much better than a bulk head/bassinet seat with people on either side of me.

Here she was after our first stroll around the neighborhood.

I have enjoyed reading your blog and seeing all your beautiful pictures. Annie is so sweet and seems so very happy. I love that she can say "Momma". Izzy is 16 mos. and still doesn't say that. I can't wait to meet her!!! Love and blessings to you all. Kelley Barrios

Hello Kori, my name is Jean and I work at Mead Clark Lumber.Lance & I talk about kids & families from time to time, so he shared with me your journey & part of your story of Annie. What an amazing tale, what an incredible journey & what a beautiful "end" to the process-or rather a new chapter in your and Annie's life. Best wishes to you all-she is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
